About
We build the systems businesses actually run on.
DataX Technologies is a software house in Blue Area, Islamabad. Since 2021 we have built custom software, CRMs, booking systems and operational platforms for 42 named businesses across 2 countries.
What we actually do
Most of our work starts the same way: a business has outgrown a spreadsheet. Bookings are in one file, payments in another, and the person who understands both is on leave. Nobody can answer what the business is owed without opening four documents.
We replace that with one system. Sometimes it is a custom build. Sometimes one of our existing products already fits and needs adapting rather than rebuilding — and we will say so, because selling a twelve-week build for a problem a configured product solves in two is how agencies lose clients permanently.
That pattern is why we ended up with 7 products. None of them started as a product. Each began as one client's custom build, and became a product when a third business in the same industry described the same problem in almost the same words.
Where we work
Islamabad, in person
Our office is at Office 11, Aaly Plaza, 2nd Floor, Blue Area. Clients in Islamabad and Rawalpindi visit us; we bill in PKR and accept local transfer methods.
Pakistan and the United States
Our client roster spans Pakistan and United States, across 8 sectors — rental fleets, travel agencies, hotels, real estate, heavy equipment, restaurants and education.
Products and project work
7 products in daily production use, plus 19 service lines covering web, mobile, AI, data, security, cloud, design and growth.
How we work
One workflow at a time
A first release should let someone do one whole job without falling back to their old method. Systems that do eight things at 70% are usable for nothing.
You own the code
Source code ownership transfers on final payment, in writing, with documentation and credentials. You should never be renting your own business system.
We tell you when not to build
If an off-the-shelf product fits your process, that is the honest recommendation. We would rather lose a project than sell the wrong one.
Built for how Pakistan actually operates
Cash-heavy ledgers, WhatsApp as the primary channel, local invoicing and payment methods. Imported software handles these badly, and that is usually why it gets abandoned.
