White-Label Development Partner for New Zealand Agencies
You keep the client relationship, the brand and the margin. We deliver the engineering behind it — quietly, on a defined scope, to a date you can put in front of your client.
In short
DataX Technologies provides white-label development for New Zealand agencies — websites, custom software, mobile apps and CRM systems under your brand. New Zealand is seven to eight hours ahead of Pakistan, so the relationship runs on a scheduled morning call and a written daily handover rather than constant live contact.
Billing
NZD
Quoted and invoiced in NZD, or in AUD where your agency already bills trans-Tasman clients that way. Settled by international transfer.
Time zones
Overlap
Pakistan is at UTC+5 year round. New Zealand is 7 hours ahead in winter (NZST, UTC+12) and 8 hours ahead during daylight saving (NZDT, UTC+13).
Working day
Live window
The narrowest overlap of any market we serve, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise: 9am in Islamabad is 4pm in Auckland. That gives roughly two hours at the end of your working day. It works well, but only because the written handover does the heavy lifting rather than the calls.
Why agencies in New Zealand partner out development
New Zealand has a small domestic market and a correspondingly small senior developer pool, and most agencies of any size are also serving Australian clients. That combination makes a delivery partner less of a cost decision than a capacity one: the work exists, the people to do it locally often do not, and a single senior hire can represent a large share of a studio’s fixed cost.
The work is typically brochure and campaign sites, e-commerce, booking and membership systems, and integrations with Xero and other tools that are close to universal among New Zealand small businesses. Public-sector and education-adjacent clients bring accessibility expectations with them, which is worth settling in the brief rather than at user-acceptance testing.
Because the live overlap is short, we structure New Zealand partnerships around written artefacts: a scoped brief, a milestone plan, and a daily written handover. Agencies that work this way get a full extra development cycle out of each day; agencies that want to manage by instant message find the distance frustrating.

How we work across the time difference
One scheduled call, properly used
A standing call early in our day and late in yours, with an agenda circulated beforehand. Two focused hours a day beats a scattered exchange of messages across a seven-hour gap.
The written handover is the contract
Every day closes with what moved, what is blocked and what we need from you. In a market this far away, an undocumented assumption costs a full day rather than ten minutes.
Accessibility settled in the brief
Where a client expects WCAG conformance, we agree the target level in the brief and build to it, rather than discovering it during user-acceptance testing when the budget is already spent.
Contracting, invoicing and client protection
The questions your finance and procurement people will ask before the first invoice, answered up front rather than three weeks in.
GST on imported services
Services acquired from an overseas supplier are generally dealt with by the New Zealand business rather than GST being charged on our invoice, and a GST-registered business acquiring them for its taxable activity is often in a neutral position. Confirm the treatment with your accountant — this is orientation, not advice.
Supplier onboarding
We provide company registration details, banking information and whatever vendor form your process requires. As a non-resident supplier we have no NZBN; finance teams occasionally ask, so it is worth flagging before the first invoice rather than during it.
Contracts, IP and client protection
NDA before any client material is shared, written assignment of intellectual property to you on payment, no direct contact with your clients, and non-solicitation terms where you want them documented.
The tax and contracting notes above are general orientation for New Zealand, not legal or tax advice, and they describe common practice rather than your specific position. Confirm anything that affects your filings with your own accountant before you rely on it.
Systems you can resell, not just rebuild
Some agency work does not need a build from zero. These are production systems we already run for clients, and they can be adapted and deployed under your brand — which usually beats quoting six months of bespoke development.

Is the time difference workable?
Yes, but only with discipline, and we would rather set that expectation now. New Zealand is 7 to 8 hours ahead of Pakistan, giving about two live hours at the end of your day. We run a standing call in that window and a written daily handover. Agencies that rely on ad-hoc messaging find the distance harder than agencies that work from written briefs.
Do you charge GST?
As an overseas supplier we do not charge New Zealand GST; imported services are generally handled by the New Zealand business itself. Your accountant should confirm how this applies to you.
Can you build to WCAG accessibility requirements?
Yes, where it is agreed in the brief. We settle the target conformance level before development starts, because retrofitting accessibility after a build is signed off is the expensive way to do it.
We serve Australian clients too. Can one partnership cover both?
Yes, and most New Zealand agencies we speak to are in exactly that position. The practical difference is time zone rather than process — Australia sits two to three hours closer to us than New Zealand does.
