What it is
RentalOS is a cloud-based rental management system built by DataX Technologies for car rental, van hire and equipment rental businesses. It handles bookings, fleet availability, customer and vendor ledgers, payments, expenses, receivables and payables, and real-time financial reporting from any device.
The problem it solves
Most rental businesses still run on paper logbooks, WhatsApp messages and a spreadsheet that only one person understands. Vehicles get double-booked, maintenance dates slip past, and nobody can say what the business is actually owed.
The financial side is worse. Customer dues, vendor payables and daily expenses live in separate places, so the owner only finds out about a cash flow problem weeks after it started.
RentalOS replaces that with one system: every booking, vehicle, payment and expense in a single cloud database that the owner can open from a phone.

Questions about RentalOS
Does RentalOS work on mobile?
Yes. RentalOS runs in the browser on desktop and tablet, and has a mobile dashboard so owners can check active rentals, collections and dues from a phone.
Can it handle more than one branch or location?
Yes. Fleet, bookings and ledgers can be segmented by branch, with role-based permissions controlling what each team member sees.
Is my data safe in the cloud?
Data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with regular automated backups and role-based access control. We also deploy to a private server if you prefer to keep data in-house.
Can RentalOS be customised for my rental business?
Yes. DataX builds the product and owns the codebase, so pricing rules, contract templates, invoice formats, report layouts and extra modules can be tailored to how you actually operate.
Do you support rental businesses outside Pakistan?
Yes. RentalOS is in production with rental operators in the United States as well as across Pakistan, and supports multiple currencies and tax setups.
