White-Label Software Development for Agencies
Custom business software built for agencies and consultancies to deliver under their own brand, with discovery, milestones and IP assigned to you on payment.
In short
White-label software development means DataX builds custom business systems that your agency or consultancy delivers under its own brand. We handle discovery, architecture, build and testing against a defined scope; intellectual property transfers to you on payment so you can assign it to your client.
Not an agency? This page is about reselling our delivery under your own brand. If you want this built for your own business, the service page is the better place to start.
Custom Software DevelopmentWhat you can sell under your own brand

- Customer and partner portals with role-based access
- Workflow automation and approval systems
- Reporting dashboards built on a client’s existing data
- API development and integrations between systems a client already pays for
- Legacy system replacement, phased so the business keeps running
What you send us
The business problem, not a feature list
What breaks today, who it costs, and what "fixed" looks like. A feature list written before the problem is understood is the single most reliable predictor of a project that ships and then goes unused.
Who actually uses it, and how many
Roles, permissions, rough volumes. A system for six people in one office and a system for six hundred across three countries are different builds, and the difference has to be known before architecture, not after.
What it has to talk to
Accounting, CRM, payment, email, anything with an existing data source. Integrations are usually where custom software timelines actually go, particularly when the other system’s API turns out to be undocumented.
What you get back
A discovery document you can show the client
Scope, data model, user roles, integration points and risks, written so you can put your name on it and use it to agree the build with your client before anyone writes code.
Milestone builds, each demonstrable
Every milestone ends in something that runs and can be shown. You are never asked to report a percentage to a client who wants to see the thing.
Source, documentation and IP assignment
Full source, deployment and architecture documentation, and written assignment of intellectual property on payment so you can pass ownership to your client cleanly.
How this work usually arrives
Discovery first, then a fixed build
A short paid discovery phase produces the scope and the number. Both sides then know what is being built. For anything non-trivial this is the only honest way to quote a fixed price.
Phased replacement of something that works badly
Most businesses cannot stop while their system is replaced. We build alongside, migrate in stages, and run both until the old one can be switched off.
A module onto something that already exists
Extending a system a client already runs. We audit the existing code first and tell you honestly whether extending it is sound or whether you are buying a problem.
How partner pricing works
Discovery is quoted separately and is yours to keep whether or not you continue with us. The build is then fixed-price per milestone against the scope discovery produced, which is what makes it safe for you to quote your client a number.
We do not publish partner rates. They depend on scope, stack and commitment, and a headline figure would be wrong for most of the agencies reading it.
Stack
Or start from something that already runs
These are systems already in production with real clients. Adapting one under your branding is usually faster and cheaper than quoting a build from zero — and your client still receives it as your work.
White-Label Software Development FAQ
Why insist on a paid discovery phase?
Because a fixed price for an unspecified system is a guess, and a guess becomes a change-request argument halfway through — usually between you and your client rather than between you and us. Discovery produces the scope that makes the fixed price honest. It is yours to keep regardless of what you do next.
Who owns the intellectual property?
You do, on payment. Written terms assign it to you so you can assign it onward to your client without a further conversation with us.
Can you work with our client’s existing development team?
Yes. We can take a defined component and integrate against agreed interfaces. That works well when the boundaries are written down and badly when they are assumed, so we push to document them early.
What happens after launch?
Whatever you want to sell. A defined warranty period for defects is normal, and ongoing support or further development is a separate agreement you can mark up and bill as a retainer.
Tell us about one project you have on now
We will scope it, price it and tell you plainly whether we are the right partner for it — including when we are not.
