White-Label Web Development for Agencies
Websites and web applications built for agencies to resell under their own brand — from your design files to a documented handover.
In short
White-label web development means DataX builds the website or web application and your agency delivers it under its own brand. You supply the designs and the client relationship; we supply the engineering, a documented handover and no contact with your client at any point.
Not an agency? This page is about reselling our delivery under your own brand. If you want this built for your own business, the service page is the better place to start.
Web DevelopmentWhat you can sell under your own brand
- Marketing and brand sites built from your designs, pixel-accurate
- E-commerce stores on Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom stack
- Web applications, portals and client dashboards
- Platform migrations off Wix, Squarespace or an ageing WordPress build
- Performance and Core Web Vitals remediation on sites you already run
- Ongoing maintenance retainers you bill monthly
What you send us
Designs, or a steer to work from
Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch is ideal. If you only have a reference site and a brand guide we can work from that, but say so up front — it changes the estimate and the number of review rounds, and we would rather price it honestly than discover it in week two.
Functional expectations in writing
Forms, integrations, logins, payment, language support, CMS editing rights. The commonest cause of a blown agency deadline is a requirement that lived in a client call and never reached the brief.
The date you have already promised
Tell us the date you committed to, not a comfortable internal one. If it is not achievable we will say so before you sign rather than three weeks in.
What you get back
A clean repository, transferred
Readable code in your repository or ours transferred to you, with meaningful commit history rather than a single squashed dump.
Documentation written for a third party
Setup, environment variables, deployment steps and a CMS editing guide you can hand to a client or to whoever maintains it after you.
A tested build, on your staging
Cross-browser and responsive testing before handover, deployed where you want it. You present it; we are not on the call unless you invite us.
How this work usually arrives
Design-to-build
You have completed designs and a signed client. We build to them. This is the cleanest and most predictable shape of agency work, and the one we quote fastest.
Rescue work
A build somebody else started has stalled or shipped broken. We audit it first, for a fee, and tell you plainly whether it is worth extending or whether rebuilding the broken part is cheaper than repairing it.
Retained maintenance
A pool of hours each month across several client sites for updates, fixes and small features. Usually how a first project turns into a standing arrangement.
How partner pricing works
Fixed price against a defined scope, quoted per milestone, so you can apply your own markup and quote your client a number you will not have to revise. Change requests are priced before they are built, never billed afterwards as an overrun.
We do not publish partner rates. They depend on scope, stack and commitment, and a headline figure would be wrong for most of the agencies reading it.
Stack
Or start from something that already runs
These are systems already in production with real clients. Adapting one under your branding is usually faster and cheaper than quoting a build from zero — and your client still receives it as your work.
White-Label Web Development FAQ
Will our client ever know you built it?
Not from us. We do not contact your clients, our name appears nowhere in the deliverable, and documentation is written so you can hand it over as your own work.
Can you work from our existing design system?
Yes, and it is the fastest way to work. Give us the component library and token definitions and we build to them rather than reinterpreting each screen.
Who hosts the finished site?
Whoever you want. We deploy to your hosting, your client’s, or set up new hosting in your name. We do not hold sites hostage on our own infrastructure.
What if the client changes their mind mid-build?
We price the change and you decide whether to absorb it or bill it on. Nothing gets built outside the agreed scope without you approving the cost first, which is what keeps your margin predictable.
Tell us about one project you have on now
We will scope it, price it and tell you plainly whether we are the right partner for it — including when we are not.
