Paid On-Site IT Training Programme in Islamabad
Work from our Blue Area office alongside the development team on real client projects — a paid, structured programme, not a certificate course.
Fees depend on batch type and schedule. Message us and we will give you the figure directly rather than publish one that turns out not to apply to you.
In short
A paid on-site programme at DataX Technologies in Blue Area, Islamabad. Participants work from our office alongside the development team on real client projects, with assigned work, code review and a mentor — closer to a first job than to a classroom.
Duration
8 to 12 weeks, full-time or part-time
Level
For people who already have foundational skills
Where
On-site only, at our Blue Area office
Who this is for
- Graduates whose degree gave them theory and no working experience
- Self-taught developers who have never had their code reviewed by anyone
- Course graduates — ours or elsewhere — who need real project exposure
What you will be able to do
- Experience of a real codebase, with the mess and constraints that implies
- Work in a real Git workflow, with branches, pull requests and review
- Code review from working engineers on work that matters
- An understanding of how requirements, deadlines and clients actually behave
- Work you can describe credibly in an interview, because you did it
What the course covers
- 01
Onboarding into a real codebase
Environment setup, repository structure, standards and reading code you did not write. The first week of any development job, done properly.
- 02
Assigned work on live projects
Real tickets on real projects, scoped to your level and increasing as you demonstrate you can carry them.
- 03
Code review and standards
Your work reviewed by engineers, and your turn reviewing others. The fastest route to improvement available, and almost impossible to get alone.
- 04
Working with a team
Stand-ups, estimates, blockers raised early, and handover written for someone else to read.
- 05
Mentorship
A named person responsible for your progress, with scheduled check-ins rather than whenever someone happens to be free.
Tools you will use
What you will build
- Contributions to live client projects, scoped to your level
- A written record of what you built and the decisions behind it
What you need to start
- Foundational skills in a relevant area — you should be able to build something small unaided
- Available to attend our Blue Area office in person
- A short assessment before joining, so we place you at the right level
On-Site Industry Training Programme — questions
Is this a job or an internship?
Neither. It is a paid programme: you pay to take part, and in exchange you get structured work, mentorship and review inside a working software house. If you are looking for employment or a stipend internship, the careers page is the right place rather than this one.
Why would I pay for this instead of applying for a job?
Apply for the job first — genuinely. This exists because most graduates cannot get that first role without experience, and this is a structured way to get experience and reviewed work in a few months rather than waiting.
Will I work on actual client projects?
Yes, scoped to what you can handle and reviewed before anything reaches a client. Client confidentiality applies, so there are projects you will work on but cannot publish.
Can I do this remotely?
No. Being physically in the office while projects are running is the entire point — the conversations you overhear and the questions you can ask in the moment are most of the value.
