White-Label Development Partner for UK Agencies
You keep the client relationship, the brand and the margin. We deliver the engineering behind it — quietly, on a defined scope, to a date you can put in front of your client.
In short
DataX Technologies is a Pakistan-based white-label development partner for UK agencies, building websites, custom software, mobile apps and CRM systems under your brand. The UK working day overlaps ours by four to five hours, so review and sign-off happen the same day rather than the next one.
Billing
GBP
Quoted and invoiced in GBP. Settled by international bank transfer, or through a payment platform if your finance team prefers one.
Time zones
Overlap
Pakistan is at UTC+5 all year. The UK is 5 hours behind in winter (GMT) and 4 hours behind in summer (BST).
Working day
Live window
This is the easiest major market to work with from Pakistan. 2pm in Islamabad is 9am in London in winter; our standard day to 6pm PKT covers the UK morning through early afternoon, and a modest extension covers a full UK working day.
Why agencies in the United Kingdom partner out development
UK agencies subcontract development as a matter of routine, and the market is mature enough that partners are assessed on process rather than novelty: who owns the repository, how change requests are priced, what happens when a client moves a deadline, and who is accountable when something breaks after launch.
The work itself leans toward WordPress and Laravel estates that have outgrown their original build, e-commerce on WooCommerce or Shopify, membership and booking systems, and integrations into CRMs the client already pays for. A great deal of it is maintenance and incremental development on systems somebody else wrote.
The overlap makes a specific thing possible that does not work with US partners: same-day review cycles. A UK account manager can raise a change in the morning and see it on staging before close of play, because our afternoon is their morning.
Who we partner with in the United Kingdom
- Digital and full-service agencies in London, Manchester, Bristol and Leeds
- WordPress and Laravel development shops at capacity
- E-commerce agencies on WooCommerce and Shopify
- SEO and performance agencies selling technical builds
- Design studios that outsource all engineering
How we work across the time difference
Same-day review cycles
Raise a change in your morning and see it on staging the same afternoon. This is the practical advantage of a four- to five-hour difference, and it is the reason UK partnerships tend to be the smoothest.
Your tooling, not ours
We work in your Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Slack or Teams, and in your repositories. Agencies already have a process; a partner who insists on their own adds friction for no benefit.
Named contact, not a rotating queue
One person owns your account and knows the history of your client builds, so you are not re-explaining a project to a new face each time.
Contracting, invoicing and client protection
The questions your finance and procurement people will ask before the first invoice, answered up front rather than three weeks in.
VAT on services from outside the UK
For business-to-business services, the general place-of-supply rule puts VAT accounting with the customer, so UK agencies ordinarily handle our invoices through the reverse charge rather than paying VAT to us. Treat that as orientation and have your accountant confirm how it applies to your business.
Off-payroll working questions
Procurement teams often raise IR35 when any development is outsourced. The off-payroll rules concern individuals supplying their labour through an intermediary; a contracted-out service delivered by a company against a defined scope is a different arrangement. We contract company-to-company for deliverables, not for named individuals’ time, and we are happy for your advisers to review the agreement.
Contracts, IP and client protection
NDA before any client material moves. Written terms assigning intellectual property to you on payment so you can pass it to your client. No direct contact with your clients, and non-solicitation terms where you want them in writing.
The tax and contracting notes above are general orientation for the United Kingdom, not legal or tax advice, and they describe common practice rather than your specific position. Confirm anything that affects your filings with your own accountant before you rely on it.
Systems you can resell, not just rebuild
Some agency work does not need a build from zero. These are production systems we already run for clients, and they can be adapted and deployed under your brand — which usually beats quoting six months of bespoke development.

How much of the UK working day do you actually overlap?
Four to five hours comfortably within our standard day, and effectively the whole UK working day with a modest shift. The UK is 4 hours behind Pakistan in summer and 5 in winter, so 2pm here is 9am in London in winter.
How does VAT work on your invoices?
As a supplier outside the UK billing a UK business, the general B2B place-of-supply rule means the customer normally accounts for VAT under the reverse charge. Your accountant should confirm the treatment for your specific situation.
Does IR35 apply to this arrangement?
The off-payroll rules are aimed at individuals providing their services through an intermediary. We contract company to company for defined deliverables rather than supplying named individuals’ time, which is a different arrangement. Your advisers are welcome to review the contract before you sign.
Will you take over a codebase another developer wrote?
Yes, and a good share of UK agency work is exactly that. We start with a short paid audit so we can tell you honestly whether the existing code is worth extending or whether you are better off rebuilding the part that is causing the trouble.
