UI/UX Design Course in Islamabad
Learn interface and product design in Figma at our Blue Area office — including how to hand a design to developers so it gets built the way you drew it.
Fees depend on batch type and schedule. Message us and we will give you the figure directly rather than publish one that turns out not to apply to you.
In short
A UI/UX design course at DataX Academy, Islamabad. You learn Figma, interface and interaction design, design systems and usability — and because developers sit in the same office, you also learn how to hand over a design so it gets built correctly.
Duration
12 weeks
Level
Beginner — no design background required
Where
On-site at our Blue Area office · Live online · Weekend batches
Who this is for
- People who want to design products, not just posters
- Developers who want their own work to stop looking like a developer made it
- Freelancers adding design to what they can offer
What you will be able to do
- Design a complete mobile and web interface in Figma
- Build a reusable component library and design tokens
- Run a basic usability test and change a design based on what you saw
- Hand off a design developers can build without guessing
What the course covers
- 01
Design fundamentals
Layout, spacing, hierarchy, typography and colour — the things that make a screen feel right, explained as rules you can apply rather than taste you either have or do not.
- 02
Figma in depth
Frames, auto-layout, components, variants, styles and prototyping. Enough fluency that the tool stops slowing you down.
- 03
UX: research to flows
Understanding a user, mapping a flow, wireframing, and deciding what to cut. Most bad interfaces are bad decisions rather than bad pixels.
- 04
Design systems
Components, tokens and documentation so a product stays consistent as it grows and more than one person works on it.
- 05
Handover to developers
What a developer actually needs from your file, what breaks in the build, and why responsive behaviour has to be designed rather than assumed. Taught with developers in the room.
Tools you will use
What you will build
- A complete mobile app interface with a working prototype
- A responsive web product design with a component library
- A redesign of an existing interface, with the reasoning written down
What you need to start
- A laptop
- No design or drawing ability required
UI/UX Design — questions
Is this graphic design?
No. Graphic design is logos, posters and brand work. This is interface and product design — screens people use. There is overlap in visual fundamentals, but the job is different.
Do I need to be good at drawing?
No. Interface design is layout, hierarchy and decision-making. Illustration is a separate skill and not required here.
Will I learn to code?
Not in this course, though you will learn what developers need and why certain designs are expensive to build. If you want both, people often pair this with the web development course.
Ask about the next UI/UX Design batch
Tell us your background and what you want to be able to do. We will tell you honestly whether this course is the right starting point, or whether another one is.
